Friendship Nations Group - Summit 2026

The 2026 Friendship Nations Group virtual summit will take place in the Discord server of
the FNG from 21- 25 September 2026. This is the first summit the FNG has organised since the
group was created in January 2025; as such, it represents a good opportunity for members of the
group to do some diplomacy.

The organiser of the virtual summit is the State of Samizdat who will provide all the information
micronations will need to participate in this annual event. The organiser of the summit sees this
event as a "showcase" for member nations to provide information about their micronational projects.

There will be three sections: past achievements, current projects, and future aspirations and hopes.
Each participating micronation will be asked to post a brief report on these aspects of their
micronation so that they can demonstrate how far they have progressed in the development of the project.

Day 1 21 Sept 2026 Should a micronation focus on acquiring physical land, or is a 100% digital presence enough to be considered a real nation?

The following micronational members of the Friendship Nations Group attended the annual virtual summit and made a
statement relating to their micronation's past achievements, current projects, and future aspirations.

The Selaris Empire Year established: 2020 The Selaris Empire has recently successfully defined its territory and established its borders, marking an important milestone in the development of the nation. Selaris is currently working on a new e-voting website, which will allow members to participate in elections and other democratic activities online. In the future, Selaris aims to expand its technological projects, including the ambitious goal of launching at least one drone as part of its continued development and innovation.

The Democratic Republic of Aurelia Year established: 2026 On April 12ᵗʰ, 2026 at 02:32 UTC, the Democratic Republic of Aurelia and a micronation called Lithoria became the first micronations in known documented history to make a call using a VoIP system designed specifically for micronations. Aurelia is currently an active member of the Inter-Micronational Telecom (IMT) project, which is working on bringing innovative technology to the micronational community. Aurelia built and maintains IMT Social, a social media app for micronations. With the IMT, Aurelia plans to help make an inter-micronational intranet, as well as other projects. Also, Aurelia hopes to establish diplomatic relations with other micronations, as well as promote peace within the micronational community.
