ten events organised by the Friendship Nations Group. Your micronation's flag and national anthem
will be displayed at the top of this website for everyone to see and hear.

The Friendship Nations Group is organised by the State of Samizdat and can be contacted by post, email, or via our Discord server. Samizdat welcomes diplomatic contact from other nations and requests for citizenship from individuals. Feel free to send us requests for information about the Friendship Nations Group.
About this group
Group Membership Card
The group membership card is available on request to micronations that have participated in at least
five events organised by the Friendship Nations Group. The card is sent in PDF format via Discord and can be printed
on a plastic card. The card contains the micronation's name, date on which they joined the group, and the flag
of the micronation. The card automatically expires when the micronation is no longer a member of the group.

The Friendship Medal Awards
The Friendship Medal is an annual award announced in December of each year. This medal is awarded
to micronations that have contributed positively to the events organised by this group throughout the year.
The medal was introduced in 2024 as a way of saying thank you to group members.

Cultural events organised by the Friendship Nations Group
The Friendship Nations Group organises cultural events for micronations with friendship agreements, including
the Micronational Friendship Games, the Friendship Song Festival, and the Friendship Football League,
the Friendship Bowling Club competition, all of which take place in the Discord server of the State of Samizdat.
Cultural events for 2026
The State of Samizdat hopes to organise annual cultural events for 2026 in which other micronations can participate.
These include events that are similar to those celebrated in 2025. As in 2025, scheduled events will include the following
cultural activities that will be organised from the Discord server of the State of Samizdat.
Participating in cultural events
All events organised by this group take place in the Discord server of the Friendship Nations Group.
New events are announced on this page for the following year. Most events are organised
by the State of Samizdat, but some events are organised by other members of the Friendship Nations Group.
Organisers of cultural events invite members of the Friendship Nations Group to participate in events via Discord
by sending them an invitation via DM.
Culture and art
The Friendship Nations Group believes that developing a micronation's culture is essential for that micronation's image
and identity, as other micronations often want to open diplomatic relations and ratify agreements.
Presentation videos
As part of most events, the Friendship Nations Group will make a presentation video usually accompanied by music. There
will also be an official poster, participation certificates, and a report for Radio Samizdat.
The organiser of the event will contact micronations individually to ask if they wish to participate. Participants can
participate in as many or as few events as they wish, depending on the amount of free time they have available.
