Radio Samizdat congratulates the Selaris Empire on winning the 2026 edition of the Friendship Song Festival, which was hosted by the Friendship Nations Group on Neocities.

A total of 10 micronations took part in this year’s event, the same number of participants as the 2025 edition, with five participating nations from Europe and five invited nations, including Thailand, Chile, and Malaysia.

The songs presented for this festival ranged from opera to heavy metal, ballads and fast techno beats, including songs with phrases in Japanese and German. The Selaris Empire presented a song with lyrics in Tamil.

Pommerski presented an instrumental song with most of the entries being in the English language. Several participating micronations also took part in last year’s festival, including Kunigo and Samizdat.

The winner of the Friendship Song Festival 2026 was the Selaris Empire, with a total of 68 points, with the Kingdom of Ayumar in second place. The final results were:

The fourth edition of the Friendship Song festival will be celebrated in 2027, with more songs and a wider audience than previous years.
