The Friendship Nations Group took part in one of the first-ever tests of a ITRC communication system being developed by a micronation called Pommerski, who has been a member of the FNG since 11 Nov 2025.

The test was extremely successful, and although short, this test demonstrates that this system of international communication is a viable alternative to the DM messaging system used by Discord.

The ITRC (Internet Transmit Receive Communication) is described by Pommerski as “a radio that you read” but will soon incorporate a text-to-speech function to make it easier to use.

The system still needs to be developed further to ensure there are no technical issues, but the organiser of the Friendship Nations Group is interested in using ITRC as a two-way communication channel with new and existing members of the group.

Below is a screen grab of the first-ever conversation between Pommerski and the FNG using this communication system, which at times produced amusing moments with the text-to-speech function.
